Looking for an experienced General Accountant for a rapidly growing British owned Tableware Trading Company. A great opportunity to prove yourself within the organization and build a career internally.
The ideal candidate should be able to handle all company financials independently. They must be proactive and an excellent written/verbal communicator who can build good rapport with both our customers and suppliers. Communicating effectively over the phone is critical. They should work efficiently and automate wherever possible, while informing us of how processes can be improved.
Responsibilities: managing all company financials including but not limited to:
- Previous experience in budgeting essential
- Setting up price lists and products on to ERP
- Maintain all business expenses
- All company reports, P&L, Balance Sheet etc.
- Issue monthly report on all company financials
- HR - Payroll, WPS etc
- Inventory control, stock take and liaising with warehouse manager to ensure smooth operations
- Negotiate with Freight Forwarders for pricing
- Consolidate orders for importing
- Liaise with Suppliers for purchasing
- Input financial transactions into internal databases
Key Qualifications
- Accounting or Finance background Essential
- MS Office experience critical. Understanding of formulas in excel is highly desired
- Experience in using an ERP system
- Excellent Organisational skills and detail orientated is a must
- Previous experience in understanding import/export documentation essential
